October 26 Thursday. Left dock in Oriental heading to Beaufort anchorage. Tried to get the dinghy motor to run. No luck. Rowed into town and met Mike and Loraine for dinner at the Mexican restaurant. Going to move the boat and dock at Beaufort Docks. 

 

October 27 Friday. Still at Beaufort Docks with NSA. Did the Poker Run/ Bar Crawl. Alicia won with 5 of. Kind. Ordered a new Outboard Carburetor for the dinghy. 

 

Oct 28 Saturday. Another perfect weather day with light winds and clear skies. Replaced Dinghy motor carburetor after Elizabeth drove from Wilson for us. Ate breakfast at Marmalade’s (French Toast!) Took a double-decker bus tour around Beaufort. Went to a costume party with NSA as the Pickleball King's.

 

October 29 Sunday. Left Beaufort Marina at 4am. Had full moon and Jupiter all morning. Temp was 68 degrees with very light west winds. Ocean and winds were a mixed bag with waves 1-4’ and winds 5 - 20 knots. Clear skies all day. Motor sailed in the ocean to Wrightsville Beach Inlet and then inside to Carolina Beach Anchorage.

 

October 30 Monday. Anchor up 7am at Carolina Beach. Sailing down the Cape Fear River. 70 degrees, winds SW around 12 knots. Made it to Calabash SC - Little River.  Ate dinner at Captain Stacey’s with James Earl. 

 

October 31 Tuesday. Halloween.  Up anchor at 7am 65 degrees with light north winds. Cold front approaching with cloudy skies. Picked up sailboat “Sea Note”. Went through 3 opening bridges today, heading to Georgetown, SC.  Arrived at Georgetown around 4:30pm, went with Tommy ("Sea Note") to Rollin Local Hibachi.

 

November 1, Wednesday. Staying at Georgetown for a northerly blow. Went into town after lunch. Had hot fudge Sundays and walked around town. 

November 2, Thursday. Left Georgetown 7am. Very cold 38 degrees. Winds 5-15 North. Heading to Charleston today. Excellent timing on the tides today. Picked up Tommy in dinghy and ate fiat California Dreaming. Excellent restaurant. 

November 3, Friday 8:45 am. Up anchor at Charleston SC. About 55 degrees with winds 5-15 and partly cloudy skies. Left later than usual because of the late Wappoo bridge opening. Good tide this morning. Running 10 knots through Elliot’s Cut. SeaNote is leading the pack of sailboats today. Heading to Beaufort, SC.

 

November 4, Saturday. Got a slip at Beaufort SC Marina. Wi-Fi password “LetsGoBoating!”  Sandy gave us a ride to hardware store and Walmart to get supplies to fix our toilet situation. 

 

November 5, Sunday. Time changed today. Cleaned and washed boat at Beaufort docks this morning. Around 65 degrees and sunny light winds. Sandy came by at 1:30 to take us to Pickleball and then out to eat dinner at Bricks restaurant. 

November 6, Monday. Marsha picked us up at 8:30 and drove us to pickelball at South Side Park. Moved boat to anchorage after 12pm.  Took dinghy into town for lunch at Panins and a walk around Beaufort town.

November 7, Tuesday. Anchored up at 6am. Sunny, 55 degrees and light winds. Made it to Herb River anchorage and had lunch with John and Belinda at Wyld Restaurant. Took a dinghy ride to John's and Belinda's house for her birthday celebration.

November 8, Wednesday. Anchored up and headed towards Darien Georgia.

November 9, Thursday. Anchored up and headed to Fernandina Florida.  Anchored down just outside the marina.

November 10, Friday, Played pickelball early at Fernandina Central Park. Ate lunch at Pepper's Mexican.  Went for drinks and music in town with "Beachscape"

November 11, Saturday. Played pickelball this morning in Fernandina Central Park.  Ate lunch at T-Ray's Burger Place. 

November 12, Sunday. Anchored up early today and motor sailed to Pine Island Anchorage. Anchored near "Barry Duckworth" Mostly cloudy, foggy, and cool all day.

November 13, Monday. Achored up at 7am making out way to Daytona. We were against the tide heading to St Augustine, then had the tide all the way to Daytona with 20 knots of wind behind us. Anchored down near "SandBox" just past the Memorial Bridge. Started to rain when we arrived.w

November 14, Tuesday. Work on boat day in Daytona. Rainy and windy day. worked on engine stop control and enclosure snaps. Met up with Lana and Robert on "Sailbox" in town for a Mexican dinner. 

November 15, Wednesday. Another rainy and windy day in Daytona. Worked on toilet system watched a bunch of Netflix. Stayed on boat all day.

November 16, Thursday. Another rainy day in Daytona Beach. Heading to Cocoa tomorrow.

November 17, Friday. Anchored up at 7am and motor sailed to Cocoa with "SandBox"  Made it to Cocoa and had a pizza dinner and drinks intown at Ryan's Restaurant on the rooftop with live music.

November 18, Saturday. Anchor up at 7am partly cloudy 70 degrees. Heading towards Vero Beach behind "SandBox" Had good north winds most of the way and got on a mooring ball after getting fuel and water. Took a dinghy ride around the islands before evening.

November 19, Sunday. On a mooring ball at Vero Beach with sunny skies 75 degrees winds 10-15

November 20, Monday. On mooring ball at Vero Beach sunny skies 10-15 winds.  Went swimming with Sandbox. Ate dinner at Sandbox.

November 21, Tuesday. On mooring ball at Vero Beach sunny skies 10-15 winds. Replace toilet on boat. Went swimming with Sandbox.

November 22, Wednesday. Going swimming after lunch and riding around on the dinghy.
